Brined for 24 hours, then smoked.
It’s a Camp Chef Smoke Vault.

The tanning of the turkey’s skin is so dark that the reflection of the sun off it has singed my eyebrows

Wow that looks good. I would have guessed it was a duck because of the good color

I brined mine for about 12 hours, and smoked it about six. First time I’ve done a whole turkey. It came out pretty good.

Looks like the turkey on National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

I love a sunburnt poultry. A fowl with well smoked thighs. Of juicy basted breasts. Of crumbly and tasty stuffing. I love it s smells and flavours, it s salt and spices, its crunchy skin and deadly fats. That poultry should be for me.
